Fixed: Same as 1.888 but the there was an issue with the spectrum broadcast with LPPAN and sampling rates lower than 192kHz.

New: Win4K3Suite now has a UDP Spectrum broadcast feature.  This can be used with N1MM+ Contest Logging and it’s new Spectral Monitor.

Fixed:

  • The power control for the KX3 when used with a KPA500 and KXPA100 has been improved.
  • A few missing tool tips were added to display numeric values of sliders.
  • In some cases, the spectrum window status (open / closed) on startup was not saved.

New: There are a number of enhancements in this release

  • Updated the Macro window so that it is re-sizable down to a single macro.
  • Added per-band gain settings for the SDRPlay
  • Added a third message button for the KX3 and KX2
  • The status of the Auto Information setting is now restored when the program exits.
  • There is now an option in User Preferences which when selected, will auto synchronize the radio clock with you system clock on startup.

Fixed When using the KPA500 with the KX3 and KX2, switching between standby and operate could cause a program shutdown.

New: The module for the KPA500 with the KX3 and KX2,  has been moved to its own thread in the software.  The result is near instantaneous display of power, SWR, and current during operation.

New The Win4K3Suite Terminal now provides the option to assign a message file to a particular digital mode which will load automatically when you change modes.  To configure this, open the Terminal, select your mode, and then select Message Edit.  You may then load a file or create one and upon Saving the file you will be prompted to assign or not assign to a particular mode.  You can then do this additional times for all three modes.

Fixed: There was an issue that was demonstrated when DXLab Commander switched from a band that was not using the K3 sub-receiver to one that was.  There were excessive delays.  This has been fixed as well as overall responsiveness.

-The previous release had an issue on Windows XP.  Please note that fixing issues on Windows XP are becoming more difficult. This will only be done in minor cases.

-Support has been added  for the SDRPlay to be used as a panadapter for the KX2 and KX3.  No need for a sound adapter.

Fixed: Users with a 10W K3 or K3S were unable to adjust the power output.  Corrected in this release.

New: Support has been added  for the “State” for direct logging to N3FJP’s Amateur Contact Log.

Fixed:

SDRPlay: Changing the gain for the RSP could result in instability in the spectrum.  This has been fixed.  However, it is recommended that the default of -70 be used.

SDRPlay: There was an error on QSY from the waterfall.

The test button for HRD Logbook direct logging was not working.

The equalizer did not always load the correct preset on restarting.

Monitor: 1600×900 minimum, 1920×1080 recommended.
Hardware: Minimum 2 GHz 2-core processor with 4GB ram.
Sound board for KX3 Spectrum Scope: Internal or external USB sound board with Stereo Line input.
Video for P3 Panadapter: Elecraft SVGA board and VGA video capture board such as the Aver Media HD Game Broadcaster, Epiphan VGA2USB  OR 720p Webcam and tripod.
